dedicated Authorization Coordinator to join our growing team in San
Antonio.

What You’ll Do:
As an Authorization Coordinator,
you’ll ensure that our clients receive the care they need by:
- Retrieving and reviewing service authorizations from
assigned payors
- Verifying proper coding and coverage for services
- Collaborating with Service Advisors and the Billing
Department to resolve authorization issues
- Managing denials and obtaining necessary documentation
for corrections
- Maintaining accurate records and databases of patient
authorizations
- Staying up-to-date on payer guidelines and regulatory
requirements
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 1–3 years of experience in billing or accounts
receivable
- Strong knowledge of payer guidelines and claim
submission processes
- Familiarity with medical coding, terminology, and
insurance procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to
learn agency-specific software
- Typing speed of 35 WPM with 80% accuracy; Excel
proficiency at 80% accuracy
